Will be over shortly to collect it.
(First time I've ever won something - must be down to going to church on Sunday, God is probably still in shock.)

Today I was nominated to receive an Excessively Diverting Blog Award by Hels at ART AND ARCHITECTURE, MAINLY. Thanks Helen, I've found your posts entertaining and informative.

It is with great pleasure that this blog announces that it has been nominated for The Excessively Diverting Blog Award. The nomination came from Helen Webberley, blogmatresse of ART and ARCHITECTURE, mainly. Please forgive us this little "ego" trip, but we are touched and honoured by this recognition from one of our peers and want to share it with our readers.
Hels added:
I have traced back through the award winners and found a distinct pattern. Readers apparently want to read intelligent blogs on history, art, music or literature. The award winners were not 17 year olds, moaning about their tragic love lives - rather they seemed to be mature people reflecting on fascinating world issues.
Thanks Hels! I appreciate the nomination for An Edwardian State of Mind. Cheers
I am very grateful to be nominated for this award..it is bound to increase my influence at Court.
